Des activités qui façonnent des enfants confiants et connectés

Following the rhythm of the seasons, the mentors accompany the children in the celebration of their rites of passage, with challenges adapted to each age (lighting their first friction fire, mastering their first knife, red tents for young girls), while honoring the festivals that punctuate the year, such as the spring equinox (Ostara) or the winter solstice (Yule). We also invite parents to help organize these celebrations, with the aim of reintroducing the sacred into the lives of future generations. Finally, we offer various programs to make this approach accessible to all ages.

Our approach is also inspired by permaculture. We want to bring the principles of nature's ecosystem to life for children, enabling them to experience how nature works and how to care for it.

They'll be able to put into practice different ways of solving a problem over and over again, and develop sharp critical thinking skills.

La Tribu des Bois follows a flexible routine, at the heart of which are daily rituals such as the sit spot/solo. Each day, the child chooses a quiet spot in the forest, a space where she can collect herself, observe nature and connect with full awareness. This place quickly becomes a refuge, conducive to magical moments and encounters with wildlife. Practices such as journaling and gratitude circles enrich this experience. Through these rituals, La Tribu des Bois guides children towards a deep and authentic connection with wild nature.

Léa, mother of Maxime, 7 years old

Sending our son to Tribu des Bois was one of the best decisions we ever made. From day one, Thomas came home with sparkling eyes, telling how he had learned to build a tree house and identify the birds of the forest.
